- more time spent with kids in school. morning call 630am, breaky at 730am, set off for school at 815am. more bumpy rides.

- the shanker's team arrived for paedetric heart surgery at the hospital. we could go and observe the surgery but i was warned that the smell would be untolerable so cand and i decided not to take risk fainting in an operation theattre.

- been buying stuffs, mostly the same. like comfy pants and i hope those that i'm giving it to will actually wear them! i've been wearing them and it's light and airy. haha! practise my bargaining skills. i give in too easily.

- today, mum and i were at this market not very far from the hotel. walking back takes like 15min? but the sun was SO hot we decided to take the tut tut. so i asked how much he told me USD$2 which was really expensive. so i tried 3000riel (about 75cents USD). he refused so i walked away thinking he'll call after me and say OKOK, you know that's what you normally do when bargaining. but ahem, nothing. so we walked a bit down and another guy asked whether we want tut tut. initial offer was USD$2 too but he brought it down to USD$1 and my mum said just give la.. dont bother, it's still cheap. so... yea, bargaining failed.

- the sun was damn hot today. like the hottest ever since i've been here. lucky for my sun block. but at least we dont sweat like how we do back home. it's pretty dry here.

- headed to TONLE SAP (the biggest lake) today to catch the sunset. people mosty fishermen were living along the lake. they pee and shit in the lake, they wash with the water from the lake, they cook with the water from the lake, they bathe with water from the lake, by boat is their main transport. it's quite difficult to understand why these people dont get how dirty the water is. or prolly it doesnt bother them. the sunset was.... no comments. couldnt really see it set cause there were dark clouds and rain was coming. but the whole boat tour of about 1.5 hours was awesome. we study in geography about people living on water and doing business on boats. now it's a good exposure to see what you learn.

- had a mini tour around the ANGKOR WAT HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN. it's a hospital for children age 0-16.

- heading to ANGKOR WAT tmr to catch the sun rise. morning call 4am, set off at 5am. time now is 10.55pm cambodia time. (an hour behind s'pore)

i've been trying to upload photos of day 2 into facebook, but the uploading always fails!!!! I AM SO ANNOYED!!
