my tolerance level is reaching its maximum.
i wanna speak out but i chose to swallowed it in not wanting to even think of the side effects it may bring.
you know, sometimes we're just too comfortable among our peers that we may say things that will bring adverse effect without even knowing.
although you may not mean it the hard way, who knows what the other party thinks?
we can be straight forward, we can be blunt, we can just shoot without much thought,
but unknowingly, these things accumulate.
some may rub it off, some may swallow it in, some may retaliate.
what's the difference between a person's "character", "personality" and "behaviour"?
also, i notice a rising frequency of people answering back with "whatever la!".
it's like shutting a person up and in the worse case scenario, appear to be rude.
and i mean really rude.
i don't deny i'm guilty of it but i'll try as best to refrain myself from using that phrase because i know how it feels.
to whom ever it may concern, if i offended you in my conversations,
i wish to apologise.
i'm learning to commuciate better and not say things without going through the brain.
i'm trying and wanting to be a better person.
shall we start to make this a gracious world? teehee!
met jun to head to NTU to meet lesby for lunch and to crash her lect.
lunch was good.
we went to this cafe called "the palette".
the western food was cheap and good.
pastas look appetising, maybe i'll pop by again for lunch!
then we headed to the auditorium for the 3hours forensic science lect.
however, the first 2 hours, there was a guest speaker.
he's a forensic pathologist from HSA.
he talked to us bout the different kinds of murders, burns, gunshots, soars, cuts, etc.
they were all supported by photos,
for eg, there was this case few years back whereby this woman was chopped into parts and disposed off at different parts of s'pore? yea, he showed us photos of the different parts. there were many many many gruesome photos within that 2hours.
it was an eye opener into the world of forensic science.
it's like you read it in newspapers with all the descriptions with not much supported photos,
but now,
you're actually going 'into' the case and see for yourself what it actually looks like.
not for faint hearted.
headed to another LT for a one hour lect.
lect feel is about the same as poly's.
thank gawd for jun's DSlite that killed our time.
took the shuttle bus to lesby's hostel.
the room is pretty comfortable but the flights of stairs we had to climb is a horror.
jun and i were panting and sweating after that.
i used to think that ngee ann was big for a school.
but NTU is humongous!
like an island on its own.
the hostels look like condos on the outside.
that marks the end of my excursion trip to NTU.
oh well,
orientation tmr. it's past 12am so i guess it should be TODAY!
i'll try to heed zijing's and lesby's advice to open up more.
i dont have any expectations cause i dont know what are my classmates or rather, the people there tmr are like.
for the first thing, i hope they aren't students who are too 'old'.
lesser expectations, lesser disappointments.
