HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
it was just an ordinary day at work but i was 20min late cause i forgot to bring my hp and had to go back to take. i cabbed to work and int he cab, cherie called to wish me. the funny thing was, she called my house phone at first without realising and when someone picked up, she immediately said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and it was my mother who picked up. so she asked me whether i changed my number which i thought i informed her already. so she checked her dialed number and was too paiseh to tell me the truth until i forced her to. cherie tan, why you so sotong?

i received buddy's (she's my planner) sms bout 5plus saying she's got last minute meeting with the boss which will last for bout 2hours so she'll cab down asap. i didnt feel disappointed or anything cause i guess i sense something wrong but not very sure.

so after work, i went to bugis to meet darling joey to pass her cookies. ohmygoodness i found her dirty lil' secret. her office has no pantry so... she brought... okay, leave it for you to think before she bares grudges at me. it was darn funny! THANKS FOR THE PRESENT! i've yet to try the beans! i'll share with you k? her friend came so i left for taka. i THOUGHT there was bus 7 but nooooo i walked all the way to smu. i really felt my birthday was a jinx ok.

so meeting time was 7pm and i was 10min late and meeting place was seoul garden. met sookey at the entrance and a while later karen, jean and march came. faiz, linda and kel were already inside. so we went to start attacking the food. there were THREE empty chairs and i should have suspected something. dumb me. so when i was eating halfway, they started looking at one direction and sang the birthday song. OMG! THE THREE BETRAYERS! they came in with a cake in hand!

i NEVER suspected anything wrong when lesby said she couldnt find a replacement for work and that zijing had work and wasn't allowed to leave early. what good liars and actress they are. but i was very surprise when they just appeared behind me. and i got scolded for being late cause they were wandering at lucky plaze. HAHA! SORRAYE!

they handed me the present which needed some explanation? but actually it was this thing that entitles me to 6 times manicure at polished divas. AWESOME!

and in the midst of food, buddy shouted PLAN B. zijing walked in with a small box containing brownie and handed over to sookey and we sang the birthday song cause it's her birthday the next day. YAY! we got to celebrate together although your religion forbids you to do so.

there were lotsa cam whoring, sookey telling her tales, laughing, shouting and what not. left seoul garden and sat out taka cam whoring and STILL making helluva noise.

bottomline is, i wasn't exactly looking forward to my bitrthday this year but i'm really damn happy at the end of the night. thanks Princesses (cause i just turned a QUEEN as zijing claims) for making it so enjoyable and although this year's birthday wasn't anything spectacular, spending time like this was more than enough. keep the bonds strong! sincerely wanna thank all of YOU for being present. thanks buddy for organising everything! sorry lesby for making you feel so leftout! and karentingtong bell! though we had a majoy quarrel the night before cause you seriously was boiling my blood but i hope this night was a good start for you to let go of any hard feelings! LOVE EVERYONE SINGLE ONE OF YOU! thanks for making me feel special and so loved! MWAAAAAH!

we went to dempsey road for dinner (WAHHHH!) and had SAMY'S CURRY (CHEYYY!). ahaha! i dont find it anything special and it was kinna expensive. here's a photo of my mother attempting to eat with her hands. and THIS GUY pose for this photo ok. after he gave us the papadum, my mother was like "come, can you give me more" and pointed to the camera so i quicly snapped and it looked so.. natural.

she insisted i open the present THERE. still wanna bluff me the present was a doll for ariel whose birthday in this coming sunday. if it's for her why bring it up to the restaurant right? so i thick skin a bit after seat "is that present FOR ME?"

she didnt have the intention to buy me anything buy because i asked her to help me get ribbons, she saw this at the shop and found it very pretty so she bought it. it's so going to be placed at my jewellery compartments at the new house. AWESOME! and the card and red packets. the card reads "THIS'S BIRTHDAYCARD IS FROM BOTH OF US. ONE CARD, TWICE THE LOVE!" and inside was "HALF THE COST!" haha! so sweet ah.

met stevie and joey after work and we had teppanyaki. after which, we headed to coffee club for desserts and ordered too much. like i mentioned before, we were making really too much noise. but being with these two can really set your mind free. but joey, please stop trying to act like a 'normal human being' cause we know you're seriously not one. let's meet up again! and girls+gay sleepover and baking sessions! "attack stevie!" i wan upload a video on stevie after eating sour berries. it's VERY entertaining. but blogger hates me.
