i was surprised when my mum's friend called while i was watching s'pore idol.
mum wasnt home and she was like
"are you watching singapore idol....?" (in a 'sexy' sorta tone)
me: YA!!
she: who do you wanna win?
me: JOHNATHAN!
she: (all hyped up) YA!! LET'S KEEP PUR FINGERS CROSSED!!

you know.. i dont really talk to her when i see her.
it's just those hi-bye sort cuz i dont really have anything to talk to... aunties?
ya, you get me.

after the result was announced,
*ring ring

she: (sad, disappointed voice) hady won.. so fustrating!
me: ya!! my friend who has a friend working with those phone lines told me johnathan was leading!
she: really? wad happened?!! my other friends all thinks that johnathan was a better choice! you know.. even when he just puts on any coat, he still looks so.. attractive and all.. so wasted! he has that x-factor you know... etc. do you think he'll be rewarded in one way or another?
me: i think a record company will sign him up, besides, i think he'll have a longer way.
she: yea.. hopefully ken will sign him up. ken sorta hinted about his future just now.. of cuz he cant say it straight la..
me: ya, he knows h ow to communicate with the crowd
(interrupted)
she: haiyo.. how i wished johnathan won.. my friend said johnathan was more friendly than hady... etc.

and she continues to rant how gorgeous johnathan was and how disappointed she was with the result.
i dont beg to differ tho.
but i was amazed that we were on the phone for bout THREE minutes.
not smth that i would have imagined myself doin tho.
i think this friend of mum is so CUTE.

she asked me to take many photos of dee so that she can photoshop and put her face in it and PRETEND that she was in hongkong with dee taking those photos.
